FAQ's

Tuning & Repairs

How long does a ski tune take?
Turnaround time is usually overnight, however some repairs may require more time.

What tune is right for my skis?
It depends on the condition of your bases and edges and what you’re looking for out of your skis. Bring them in and we can take a look and recommend the right service.

What’s the difference between your 2-Step and 3-Step tunes?
Our 2-Step service cleans the edges and uses our tuning equipment to cut a fresh edge before waxing. Our 3-Step adds precise base and side bevel work for a more complete edge setup.

Do you repair damaged ski bases?
Yes. We offer base repairs starting at $60. Pricing varies depending on the type and extent of the damage.

Can you repair other damage to my skis?
Yes. We offer ski repairs starting at $20, with pricing depending on the repair needed.

Bindings

Do you mount ski bindings?
Yes. We offer professional binding mounting for new and existing ski setups.

What do I need to bring for a binding mount?
Bring your skis, bindings, and the ski boots you’ll be using with the setup.

Can you remount bindings that have already been mounted?
In many cases, yes. We’ll need to inspect the ski and existing hole pattern first to make sure the new mount can be done properly.

Storage

Do you offer ski storage?
Yes. Mill Creek Sports offers both short-term and long-term storage options.

Do you offer seasonal locker storage?
Yes. We have long-term locker storage available, with availability depending on the season. Contact us or check our current availability for more information.

What is a storage tune?
Our storage tune prepares your skis for the off-season by cleaning up the bases and edges and applying wax to help protect the bases until next winter.
